The day after the wedding

The day-after wedding brunch

Keeping the celebration going, gently, around a long table

The morning after, together again

On the morning after the wedding, nobody really wants to say goodbye. Guests drift in one by one, swap stories about the night and laugh again about the speeches. It is often the gentlest moment of the weekend.

For this last get-together, I prepare a large sweet and savoury buffet, with fresh produce and homemade treats, alongside a drinks buffet: hot drinks, fruit juices, soft drinks... You come down, help yourselves and enjoy: my team and I take care of everything else, right up to the clearing away.

The morning after

How the morning really unfolds

Around 8am

The team arrives

It is the day after the wedding, so we start by cleaning the room and the kitchen from the night before. While I prepare the kitchen, my team sets up the buffets and resets the tables with clean tableware.

Before opening

A more relaxed setting

Everything is put back in order, in a deliberately simpler, more laid-back style. After the elegance of the wedding, it is time for the feel of a big breakfast among loved ones.

Around 11am

The buffet opens

The brunch is self-service. Everyone helps themselves at their own pace, and my team keeps the buffets topped up throughout.

All morning

Hot dishes, sweet treats and coffee together

There is no order of courses: eggs, grilled sausages, smoked salmon, homemade treats and coffee are all available at the same time, so everyone builds their plate as they like.

End of the brunch

A spotless kitchen

Everything is cleared and packed away, and the kitchen is left spotless. All that is left for you is to say goodbye to your guests.

Frequently asked questions about the wedding brunch

Can the brunch take place somewhere other than the wedding venue?
Yes. Villa, holiday home, family house or reception venue: I come to wherever you are gathering, all around the Bay of Arcachon and the Bordeaux region.
Do we need to have booked you for the wedding meal?
Most of the time, I prepare the brunch alongside the wedding meal, which keeps things simple. If another caterer is handling your wedding meal, get in touch: depending on the date, I can also cater the brunch on its own.
What time does the brunch take place?
Usually from 11am to 2pm. My team arrives around 8am to get the room and the kitchen back in shape before the buffet opens.
Is there a maximum number of guests?
There is no limit. I size the buffet and the team to the number of guests, whether you are hosting close family or everyone from the night before.
Do you need a kitchen on site?
An oven, a hob and a work table are all I need for a brunch. If anything is missing, I bring my own equipment.
Do you offer vegetarian or gluten-free options?
Yes. I plan alternatives to suit your guests' dietary needs and allergies, for both the savoury and the sweet.
