How much does a private chef in Pyla / on Arcachon Bay cost?

My rates start at €400 per day for the Essential package (1 meal of your choice), €450 for 2 meals, and up to €600 for the Exclusive package (breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack). Shopping is included. Travel and any accommodation are extra and depend on logistics.

How many guests do the rates cover?

Rates apply to 1 to 10 guests. From 11 to 15: a €100/day supplement. From 16 to 20: adding a waiter at €170/day is recommended. For more than 20 guests, contact me for a custom quote.

Which areas of the Bay do you cover?

Pyla-sur-Mer, La Teste-de-Buch, Arcachon, Cap-Ferret and the peninsula (Lège, Claouey, L'Herbe), as well as Gujan-Mestras, Le Teich, Andernos and as far as Bordeaux.

Can you cook 100% organic?

Yes. I happily work 100% organic and market-driven, as I did during a recent stay in Pyla for a family. We discuss menus and sourcing beforehand.

How does the shopping work on the Bay?

I handle all the shopping: Arcachon market, the fish auction, Cap-Ferret oyster huts and local producers. Purchases are at your expense, with a transparent tracking sheet. Budget around €40-60 per person per day depending on the menus.

Do you adapt menus for children and allergies?

Absolutely. Kid-friendly menus, and 100% accommodation of allergies and special diets (gluten-free, vegetarian, etc.), discussed in advance.

What is the minimum booking length?

The minimum is 4 consecutive days, to create a varied culinary experience.

How far in advance should I book?

For peak season (July-August), book 2-3 months ahead. In low season, 3-4 weeks is usually enough. Contact me as soon as you know your dates.
