Private Chef in Courchevel

"Come back from the slopes, dinner awaits by the fire"

French gastronomy in the world's largest ski area

In Courchevel, gourmet restaurants are fully booked weeks in advance. After 6 hours on the 3 Valleys slopes, who wants to go back out in the cold? A private chef in your chalet turns every evening into an exceptional moment.

Courchevel: exceptional skiing deserves exceptional gastronomy

The flagship resort of the 3 Valleys, Courchevel attracts families seeking the best every winter. 600 km of slopes, exceptional chalets, guaranteed snow... But also some of the most expensive restaurants in the Alps.

Le Chabichou (2 Michelin stars), Le 1947 (3 stars), Le Montgomerie... These legendary tables require reservations several weeks in advance and significant budgets. Not to mention the logistical challenge of getting the whole family out after a day of skiing.

That's where a chalet chef comes in: Michelin-starred gastronomy comes directly to you. Tartiflette with farmhouse Reblochon, three-cheese fondue, pan-fried Lake Geneva féra... all served in the privacy of your chalet. In other words, I turn the chalet you have rented into a fully catered chalet, from breakfast to dinner.

Why a private chef in Courchevel?

The challenges every family faces in the 3 Valleys

01

Overpriced restaurants

A family dinner at a good restaurant in Courchevel 1850 easily exceeds €150 per person. Multiply that by 7 evenings...

02

Impossible reservations

The best tables in the 3 Valleys are fully booked weeks in advance, especially during French and Belgian school holidays.

03

Exhausted after 600 km of slopes

The 3 Valleys is exhausting. At 6 PM, after the Saulire or Vizelle runs, nobody wants to get dressed again to go out at -15°C.

04

Tired children = difficult evening

After skiing and ski school, children are exhausted. Gourmet restaurants and tired children don't mix well.

A typical day with your chef

How I fit into your stay in Courchevel

7:30-8:30am

Hearty breakfast

Fresh pastries from Courchevel Bakery, scrambled eggs, Savoyard charcuterie, fresh fruit. Everything you need to tackle the Saulire slopes with energy.

I prepare everything before you wake up: all you have to do is sit down.

9am-4pm

You ski, I prepare

While you enjoy the 600 km of slopes in the 3 Valleys, from Vizelle to Méribel via Les Menuires, I shop at the Courchevel market and prepare dinner.

Cheeses from Fruitière de Moriond, meats from Maison Gauthier...

5-6:30pm

Après-ski snack

Hot chocolate, homemade cakes, gourmet snacks. The children recover while the parents relax by the fire. No rush.

A moment the children always look forward to!

7:30-9pm

Gourmet dinner

Candlelit dinner served in your chalet. Savoyard specialties or French gastronomy, depending on your mood. Beaufort fondue, tartiflette, filet of féra...

I serve you, then discreetly take care of the kitchen. You don't have to lift a finger.

Frequently asked questions

How many guests do the rates cover?

Package rates apply for 1 to 10 guests. Beyond that:
• 11 to 15 guests: a €100/day supplement is added to the chosen package.
• 16 to 20 guests: I recommend adding a server at €220/day to maintain table service quality.
For groups larger than 20 guests, please contact me directly and we will size the team (chef, kitchen assistants, servers) to your format.

How much does a chalet chef in Courchevel cost?

Packages run from €400/day for 1 meal of your choice (Essential) to €450/day for 2 meals (Prestige) and €600/day for breakfast, lunch, dinner and an after-ski snack (Exclusive), for 1 to 10 guests. I do the shopping myself; groceries are billed at cost, with receipts. Travel and the chef's accommodation are extra, detailed in your personalised quote. Compared with Courchevel 1850 restaurants (€150-300 per person), a private chef often works out cheaper for a family.

Can we book you for just one evening?

No, the minimum is 4 days for a stay in Courchevel. This allows me to settle in properly, learn your tastes and offer you a real experience. If a special evening falls during your stay (birthday, New Year's Eve), I create a dedicated menu for it.

Where do you shop in Courchevel?

I source from the best producers: Fruitière de Moriond for cheeses, Maison Gauthier for meats, Cave de Courchevel for wines. I also know the good spots in Moûtiers for more common products. Purchases are at your expense with a transparent tracking sheet.

Can you cook for large groups (12+ people)?

Yes. I regularly cook for groups of 12 to 20 people in the large chalets of Courchevel 1850 and La Tania. From 11 to 15 guests, a supplement of €100/day applies; from 16 to 20 guests, I recommend adding a server at €220/day.

What do you offer for New Year's Eve and Christmas?

These periods are in high demand in Courchevel. I offer bespoke festive menus: homemade foie gras, lobster, morel-stuffed capon, traditional bûche... Book several weeks in advance for these dates.

Do you also make fondues and raclettes?

Of course! It's often what families request for a "relaxed" evening. I prepare three-cheese fondues (Beaufort, Comté, Emmental de Savoie), raclettes with selected Savoyard charcuterie, and even tartiflettes with farmhouse Reblochon. All with the finest products.

Where do you stay during the stay?

Ideally, the chalet has a service room (common in high-end Courchevel chalets). Otherwise, I can stay in accommodation nearby. Accommodation costs are detailed in the personalized quote depending on the configuration.
